Program Overview

  • Duration: 2–3 years (based on your experience and progression)
  • Location: Must be willing to relocate to Fort Saskatchewan, AB
  • Hours: Extended hours and site work required
  • Program Type: Full-time, rotational, field-based


What You’ll Do

As a Management Trainee, you’ll rotate through various departments and take on core responsibilities including:

  • Supporting field operations and project execution
  • Assisting in cost estimation, scheduling, and proposal development
  • Participating in safety meetings, inspections, and audits
  • Developing quality control and turnover packages
  • Collaborating with teams across construction, engineering, and business services
  • Engaging in planning, benchmarking, and process improvements


Who We’re Looking For

  • Motivated self-starters with a strong work ethic and passion for field construction
  • New or recent graduates with a diploma/degree in:
    • Construction Technology
    • Mechanical or Civil Engineering
    • Business Administration
    • Surveying/Geomatics
    • Project Management or related fields
  • Journeypersons or certified tradespeople with technical expertise and leadership potential are also encouraged to apply
  • Previous construction experience is a strong asset
