Job Title : Managed Care Specialist

Duration : 12 Months

Start Date : ASAP

Position Type : Contract

Hours per Week : 37.5

Interview Type : In Person / Webcam

Short Description :

  • Extensive training, up to 6 weeks, scheduled virtually or in-office (as per supervisor request), with mandatory daily attendance.
  • No preplanned PTO during training weeks.
  • Candidates must be local to Middle TN and able to commute to Nashville, TN. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities :

  • Determine eligibility for care programs.
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules with clients.
  • Conduct client interviews, gather information, and compile case data for legal recommendations.
  • Manage casework timely, document properly, and resolve cases.
  • Provide legal research, analyze legal documents, and draft legal papers.
  • Accurately document findings.
  • Work efficiently across multiple databases.
  • Participate in workgroup meetings and discussions.
  • Assist leadership as needed.
  • Required Skills :

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree required.
  • Paralegal background is a plus.
  • Legal or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Additional Information :

  • 12-month contract with potential extension.
  • Hybrid work in downtown Nashville, TN, with onsite and remote work based on team schedule.
