Job summary

Primaris REIT in Medicine Hat, AB is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to perform day-to-day maintenance and customer service duties, ensuring the property is safe and presentable for customers, staff and tenants.

Responsibilities include daily property inspections, minor repairs (drywall, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical), operating power tools, coordinating with contractors, and providing responsive service to tenants.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required, college diploma an asset.
• 1 year experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of a trade or HVAC, etc. an asset.
• Ability to operate power tools & equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic PC skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily property inspections and promptly reporting repair needs.
• Conducting minor property repairs and maintenance tasks including drywalling, painting, landscaping, basic plumbing & electrical.
• Ensuring property safety and respond to tenant concerns.
• Maintaining property cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Collaborating with contractors, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in coordinating work with stakeholders.
