Raise is recruiting for a Senior Construction Contract Specialist to lead contractual and commercial work on major capital projects. Based in Burnaby or Vancouver Island, you will administer contracts, assess contractor submissions, and provide evidence-based recommendations to project leadership.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Finance, Procurement and Legal to protect the organization's commercial interests and preserve

Formación

• Typically 7+ years of experience in construction contract administration and related major-project disciplines.
• Experience administering construction contracts and resolving commercial issues during project execution.
• Ability to interpret complex construction contracts and apply requirements to real-world scenarios.
• Experience reviewing or preparing construction changes, notices, and commercial correspondence.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling to evaluate schedule impacts.
• Strong written communication and contract judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Administer major construction contracts throughout project execution.
• Interpret contract terms and provide practical contractual guidance to project teams.
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices, change documentation and other communications.
• Review contractor submissions, change requests, and claims.
• Assess complex contractor claims with evidence, causation and cost impacts.
• Develop concise, evidence-based assessments and recommendations for leadership.
