Job description

ConnectWell is hiring a Summer Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker and enjoy being outside in the summer months. This position will begin in May 2025 and is anticipated to end in August 2025.

Position Summary:

This Summer Maintenance Assistant position will work with the Property Manager to complete tasks at the respite sites and ConnectWell administration buildings in Lanark County. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate extensive experience and knowledge of horticultural gardening, including maintaining perennial and annual flower beds, as well as lawn cutting and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in horticulture, including perennial and annual flower bed maintenance
• Proven experience and skill working with lawn and yard maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to take direction and stay on task, completing work in a timely manner

Reporting Relationship:

The successful candidate will report to our Property Manager.
