Position Status: Regular Full Time Location: Garrison Green, Facility Management BW Hours: 77.50 FTE: 1.00 Shift: Days Shift Times: 0800-1615 Union: AUPE GSS Rate of Pay: $35.44 - $36.89 PCN: SSPPS-GG01

The Opportunity
Position Summary:
Under direction of the Site Manager, provides leadership to the maintenance team that includes prioritizing, assigning, coordinating, and monitoring maintenance activities at the sites in their Group. Performs highly skilled and complex maintenance and repair duties in accordance with accepted standards and procedures to ensure that the physical plant and related systems function in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Prepares scopes of work and liaises with external contractors and Capital Projects team for site upgrades. Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of a 5th class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency or Building Operator's A Certificate of Competency.
- A recognized trade would be an asset. Must possess a valid Alberta Driver's License.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in physical plant operations including preventative maintenance programs required.
- Proven technical skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Prior experience with a computerized building management system an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
- Basic computer skills are required for daily use of the AHS e-Facilities system.
