Carewest Innovative Health Care is seeking a temporary full-time maintenance technician to service Garrison Green facility. The role involves skilled mechanical maintenance and repair of building systems, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include proactive facility maintenance across HVAC, life safety, nurse call, plumbing, and related systems, while coordinating with contractors and other staff. Strong reading skills and basic computer use are essential.

Competenze

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Minimum two years related experience in building maintenance in an institutional setting is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Demonstrated experience working with customers.
• Ability to read and understand written instruction.
• Basic computer skills are required for daily use of the AHS e-Facilities system.

Mansioni

• Perform routine facility maintenance and repairs on building systems as per Carewest standards.
• Provide preventative maintenance on HVAC, life safety systems, nurse call, telephones, patient beds and lifts, plumbing and drainage.

The Opportunity

Position Summary: Under general supervision performs a wide range of skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work related to the building, equipment, and operating systems as per the Carewest standards.

Representative work includes: Demand facility maintenance as required by the customer. Preventative maintenance on all facility systems and equipment , which includes but not limited to HVAC, Life safety systems, Nurse Call, Telephones, patient beds and lifts, plumbing and drainage systems. Provide assistance to all other maintenance staff, as well as contractors. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma is required
• Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
