Job summary

Pursuit Collection Forest Park Hotel in Jasper, AB is seeking a Maintenance Worker to keep our historic lodges pristine and inviting. You’ll perform routine upkeep across pools, guest rooms, restaurants and meeting spaces, and assist with major repairs under the Maintenance Manager.

This full-time, on-site role requires a Grade 12 diploma, a trade background or equivalent experience, a valid Alberta driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible shifts including days

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Diploma combined with education in a trade or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.
• Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
• Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Eager to learn and grow with the team.
• Experience or knowledge in maintenance areas is an asset (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, painting) but on-site training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the upkeep of all facilities including pools, guest rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms.
• Complete basic repairs and assist with major repairs under supervision.
• Complete yard work including snow removal, gardening, mowing lawns, etc.
• Report to the Maintenance Manager and complete assigned projects and tasks.
