Job summary

Pursuit Collection Jasper is hiring for a full-time seasonal staff-custodian role in Jasper, AB. You will maintain the staff residence and grounds, handle snow removal, and keep common areas safe and tidy to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Ideal candidates are organized, physically capable, and able to work with minimal supervision while showcasing a professional appearance and a positive attitude. Criminal background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and time management skills are essential.
• Class 5 driver's license (unrestricted) required.
• Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Experience in a custodial role is an asset.
• Hospitality or tourism experience is an asset.
• Comfortable working on your feet in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Must meet grooming and appearance standards.
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily upkeep of the staff residence building, common room, parking lot and surrounding grounds.
• Keep outdoor walkways clear, snow removal, removing hazards and spreading salt to prevent ice buildup.
• Vacuum and wash floors of the Staff Residence, plus laundry and gym areas.
• Ensure fire safety equipment is in date, clearly marked and accessible.
• Inspect areas and report maintenance work orders to the Building maintenance team.
• Maintain grounds and outdoor facilities to expected cleanliness and guest use.
• Sort and transport recycling to recycling centers weekly.
• Assist with spill cleanups and report safety issues as needed.
