Job description

Tomlinsons Materials Group is looking for a skilled individual to join the Maintenance Crew.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operating a torch and stick welder
• Replacing plant components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, belts, and sheaves
• Repairing or replacing guarding
• Repairing or building walkways and stairways
• Replacing crusher and chute wear liners
• Aligning equipment and installing bearings using specialized tools such as lasers, micrometers, and calipers
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic power units
• Identify the root cause of failures and implement thorough repair solutions
• Attention to detail and critical thinking are necessary for this position
• Utilizing manual dexterity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

REQUIREMENTS :

• Capable of operating a service truck as required
• Ability to work well with others
• General knowledge of processing plant equipment
• Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely
