Job summary

Perley Health is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker to support our facility. The position requires a qualified individual to maintain and repair building systems, demonstrate mechanical skills, and communicate effectively. This is a temporary full-time role with diverse working hours, including weekends. Candidates need to have relevant education and experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completed Building Environment Systems Operator Class II Program.
• Building Maintenance experience required.
• Steel toed footwear necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and components.
• Work every second weekend and share on-call duties.
• Perform job tasks throughout the building following schedule.

BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER

1 Temporary Full-Time (1 Year) & Casual Positions Available

Minimum requirement :

The ability to meet the normal requirements or the job, including, but not restricted to :

• Successfully completed the Building Environment Systems Operator Class II Program or equivalent.
• Steel toed footwear
• Building Maintenance experience
• Excellent mechanical and communications skills.
• Knowledge of computers. Familiarity with Building Automation Systems. Johnson Control Preferred. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Candidates will be subjected to interview and practical exam.
• Will be required to work every second weekend.

The candidate will be required to work Days (7am - 3pm), Evenings (2pm - 10pm), weekends and share on-call work.
