Job summary

Tricon Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Spoke, a new purpose-built rental community in Toronto’s Junction area. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform repairs, and support day-to-day operations with a focus on resident experience and safety.

Responsibilities include inspections, completing turnovers to Class A standards, coordinating with contractors, and providing timely, courteous service to residents while upholding company values and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical or HVAC and renovation work.
• Ability to work onsite and participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive resident maintenance service and address questions with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Keep residents informed on work progress and any timing changes.
• Complete work respectfully, leaving homes clean and orderly.
• Coordinate with site team to deliver a positive resident experience.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
