Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years mechanical experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems using schematics.
• Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects.
• Ensure the operation and maintenance of production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/ hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine how to proceed.
• Participate in the implementation of various improvement projects.
• Repair, install, align, dismantle, and move equipment / production lines.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate and perform machine maintenance.
• The Maintenance Mechanic ensures the operation and maintenance (predictive and preventive) of production equipment and assets and detect irregularities and malfunctions.
  
  

Education/Skills/Experience Required

• Minimum of 3-5 years mechanical experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
• Possess strong mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to correctly read and interpret schematics.
• Experience working with preventative maintenance software.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with lots of change.
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout Procedures.
• Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Possess a positive drive to assist all departments, as required.
