Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Edmonton to support building maintenance and complex projects. You will collaborate with other technicians, perform installations, repairs and preventive maintenance across sites.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, along with a valid driver’s license. DOT certification can be sponsored. 18+ years old required; opportunities for training and growth are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• D.O.T certification is supported by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance and roof inspections at various sites.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects.
• Complete work requests timely and professionally.
• Track company truck and gas card usage.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
