Job summary

Hines Facilities Service Ltd. is seeking reliable individuals to join our Landscaping & Snow Removal team for the Edmonton crew. Responsibilities include mowing lawns, cleaning properties, operating light landscaping equipment, and seasonal shrub care.

The role also covers snow removal, outdoor work in varying weather, and general grounds maintenance. A positive attitude, reliability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility with hours are essential; a valid driver’s license is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping or lawn care is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weathers.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns and maintaining landscaped areas.
• Cleaning and removing debris from properties.
• Operating light equipment, including leaf blowers and mowers.
• Seasonal shrub care, hedges trimming, weed control.
• Assisting with general landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Navigating a truck with trailer, as required.
• Snow removal from sidewalks, walkways, entries and parking areas.
• Operating snow blowers and other light snow removal equipment.
• Applying salt or ice melt as required.
• Assisting with general cleanup and maintenance of properties.
• Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Performing other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

• Mowing lawns and maintaining landscaped areas.
• Cleaning and removing debris from properties.
• Operating light equipment, including leaf blowers, zero-turn mowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Seasonal shrub care, including trimming hedges and managing weeds.
• Assisting with general landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Navigating a truck with trailer, as required.
• Snow removal from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, parking areas, and other designated areas.
• Operating snow blowers and other light snow removal equipment.
• Applying salt, ice melt, or other de-icing products as required.
• Assisting with general cleanup and maintenance of properties.
• Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Performing other duties as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and an early riser.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible hours when required.
• Willingness to learn and perform multiple tasks.
• Previous landscaping, snow removal, or general labour experience is an asset.
• Physical strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and perform continuous walking and outdoor work.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and snowy weather conditions.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence is an asset.
