As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components, both indoor and outdoor facility and equipment, including but not limited to: large capacity washers, dryers, pneumatic and steam systems, convey system and boilers. At UniFirst we have a standard Monday - Friday work week. We have an immediate opening and provide on the job training.

High school and/or GED is required.
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum of 5th Class Power Engineer
Must pass UniFirst’s maintenance knowledge assessment to be eligible for employment.
Valid non-commercial driver’s license and a safe driving record are required.
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment.
A minimum of 6 months’ work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in a production environment is required. Applicable military experience will be considered.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required.
Ability to read and understand maintenance literature printed in English is required.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.
Lockout / Tagout experience is required.
Prior welding experience including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing is preferred.
Experience with formalized safety programs is preferred.
Prior experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
HVAC experience and boiler knowledge preferred.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Ability to work overtime as needed is required.
