Job summary

Cintas Canada is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist in maintaining operations at an industrial laundry facility. This role includes repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment such as washers, dryers, and boilers.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment and possess key skills in reading blueprints and maintenance documentation. The position comes with benefits, including extended health care coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience repairing industrial equipment in an industrial or military setting.
• Ability to read maintenance literature in English.
• Experience in blueprint reading and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers; performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies; and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills / Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
• Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting and brazing
