Job summary

Killam Apartment REIT in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. You’ll perform a variety of technical trades to keep residences in good repair and safe for residents.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, and painting, with a focus on quality workmanship and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision.
• Renovations experience an asset.
• Plumbing experience, general trades experience.
• General knowledge of electrical an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences.
• General maintenance and/or painting.
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Flooring installation.
• On call rotation required approximately every 8-9 weeks.
• Snow removal required during winter months.
• All other duties as required.
