Position Details

• Location: Vaughan, ON
• Pay Rate: CA$30.00/hr - CA$35.00/hr
• Employment Term: Full-Time / Permanent
• Schedule: Day shift

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine breakdown issues and/or to order necessary parts.
• Troubleshoot repairs, install parts with a working knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems for efficient repair.
• Conduct and perform planned preventive & predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Minimize production downtime by responding promptly to production calls.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to equipment in a manufacturing facility.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions.
• Record all maintenance activities daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Post-Secondary Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience in machine maintenance.
• Experience in metal manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
