Job summary

Addiction and Mental Health Services - KFLA in Kingston is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform a variety of maintenance repairs in residential and office buildings, communicating effectively with the maintenance team, staff and tenants.

The role reports to the Property Operations Manager, includes after-hours on-call rotations, a 37.50 hour week, and requires a high school diploma plus building maintenance training and two years' related experience; certifications such as First Aid and CPR

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school diploma
• Training in building maintenance, an asset
• Two years relevant experience in building maintenance or related fields
• Certification in First Aid and CPR, an asset
• Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, an asset
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training, an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs in residential and office buildings
• Communicate with maintenance team, staff and residents
• Respond to special/emergency assignments while following a schedule
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
