Job summary

Broadstreet Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Birch Hills Landing in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. You will handle repairs and maintenance across plumbing, electrical, heating, doors, windows, and general building tasks to keep units in top condition.

You will use basic repair tools and devices, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to a safe, well-maintained community for residents. This role requires a trade certificate or equivalent experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance-related experience.
• Completion of relevant trade, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment.
• Experience using computers, smartphones, and tablets; used for email, electronic work order applications, timesheets.
• Availability to work on-call on rotational basis.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems
• Performing repairs on windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances, equipment, fixtures and carpet, vinyl and ceramic tile replacement
• Painting, drywall patching, mudding, taping, etc
• Maintaining building exterior including basic grounds maintenance as required
• Detecting faulty operations, defective materials and reporting deficiencies

Your contributions to the team include:
