Job summary

Norbec is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Strathroy facility. You will maintain production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and implement upgrades to improve uptime and reliability.

This role requires strong hands-on skills, industry certifications, and a collaborative approach. The position offers a 12.5-hour rotating day/night shift and the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art automated systems while contributing to continuous improvement and

Qualifications

Requires millwright or tool & die credentials or an related diploma.
Minimum 5 years in automated manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with precision measurement and fabrication tools.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Repair and maintain automated manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
Install, modify, and commission new equipment and systems.
Operate machine shop and fabrication equipment (lathe, milling, welding).
Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and drives; manage spare parts inventory.
