Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician!
Position Status: Full Time
Location: West Kelowna, BC
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Sunday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; may be required to work occasionally evenings based on operational needs.
Rate of Pay: $25.95 to $29.76 per hour

Since 1980, the Central Okanagan Emergency Shelter Society (COESS), operating as Kelowna Women’s Shelter (KWS), has been dedicated to ending abuse and building hope. We provide a range of prevention, education, advocacy, and support services for individuals and children impacted by domestic abuse.
Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our West Kelowna facility is safe, functional, and welcoming. Your work will directly impact the well-being of our staff, program participants, and visitors. You will perform various tasks related to the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our building systems, equipment, and grounds. Reporting to the Facilities & Improvements Manager, you will also coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
