JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $26 per hour - $32.00 per hour based on experience, plus $1.00 shift differential

2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2pm to 10pm with overtime as needed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This Maintenance Associate is responsible for executing all maintenance and projects at the facility. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on manufacturing equipment. Installs and maintains various piping systems, repairs plumbing, fabricates piping, and ensures systems operate effectively.

Work involves industrial plumbing, heating and cooling piping, threading pipes, working with steam heat systems, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

The associate will plan, maintain tooling, and fabricate replacement parts, perform grounds/facilities repairs, and ensure safety and accuracy in all operations.

• Provide timely maintenance services to production, warehouse, and other departments.
• Be accessible, receptive to ideas, and react promptly with a sense of urgency.
• Assist with technical issues related to maintenance.
• Perform maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance, and work orders as scheduled.
• Document work activities and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Communicate effectively during shift changes and pass on pertinent information.
• Record and report daily work and time distribution accurately.
• Identify parts needed for repairs, order supplies, and manage inventory.
• Seek opportunities to improve resource conservation, costs, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• 1-2 years of industrial plumbing, pipe threading, and pipe running experience.
• Experience working with steam heat systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to distinguish colors and have correctable eyesight and hearing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Capable of handling multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical activities include walking, standing, climbing, stooping, and reaching.
• Work involves high voltage equipment, machinery, noise, temperature extremes, and dust.
• Use of personal protective equipment and tools is required.
• Commitment to safe work practices and safety responsibilities.
