Job summary

Aplin — together with CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment and Vantix Systems — partners with Vancouver's leading property management, development and investment company to hire a mobile maintenance technician for a new luxury residential complex in North Vancouver.

You will maintain a safe, healthy and functional facility for tenants, perform inspections, monitor building systems, and assist with emergencies, including after hours.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience in commercial or mixed-use settings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of building systems are essential.
• Must be personable, professional, and well-spoken in a luxury residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
• Conduct daily preventative rounds to ensure fire, life, and internal/external building systems are operational.
• Take direction from the Property Management team and assist with operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems.
• Assist and/or respond to maintenance-related emergencies, including after regular business hours.

This position will be mobile support for their new luxury residential complex in North Vancouver. Themaintenance technician will be responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy, and functional facility for the tenants and the people in it.

Compensation:

• $60,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems.
• Conduct daily preventative rounds to ensure fire, life, and internal/external building systems are operational.
• Take direction from the Property Management team and, in conjunction with team members, assist with all activities related to operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including internal work orders and service contracts performed by outside service providers.
• Assist and/or respond to any maintenance‑related emergencies, including after regular business hours.

Requirements:

• 1-2years of maintenance experience with some commercial or mixed‑use experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of building systems are essential.
• Must be personable, professional, and well‑spoken, as this is a luxury residential environment with regular resident interaction.
