Production & Manufacturing Full Time Toronto, ON

Our healthy, whole-muscle, plant-based filets are made to look, cook, taste and flake just like fish. All with a lower carbon footprint, and without harming the ocean.

As our Maintenance Technician, you will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that equipment is kept safe and in great condition. You will be an important part of building and owning our preventative maintenance plan and other integral maintenance processes as we grow our operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our production equipment and their parts.
• Execute and further develop & refine our preventative maintenance plan.
• Ensure equipment complies with all applicable safety, food safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform and document preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance.
• Inspect equipment on a routine basis to ensure it is operating smoothly and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
• Organize and maintain records of spare part inventories, equipment repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Perform additional maintenance tasks related to production and lab space facilities & utilities.

YOU WILL BRING

• 2-4 years experience as maintenance technician in food production or related field.
• Understanding of electrical power systems, mechanical assemblies, plumbing, and pneumatic systems.
• In-depth knowledge of common tools & appliances used in food manufacturing preventative maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• High attention to detail.
• Automation experience and troubleshooting is an asset.
