Job summary

AcuFast is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Spiritwood, SK to support our production facilities. You will work with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize work orders, perform routine and preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot a range of equipment including heating, ventilation, plumbing, welding and carpentry.

The role involves working both inside and outside the production facility, adhering to SOPs, biosecurity and health and safety rules, and participating in an on-call rotation for

• Experience with routine and preventative maintenance.
• Able to work inside and outside the production facility.
• Adhere to SOPs, biosecurity, and health & safety requirements.
• Respond to ER situations and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work orders with Maintenance Manager based on urgency.
• Perform maintenance across equipment including HVAC, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and related assets.
• Ensure proper operations and maintenance of barn equipment.
• Respond to after-hours calls as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Due to expanding growth, we are filling a newpermanent full-time Maintenance Technicianposition based inSpiritwood, SK. This position will directly report to Maintenance Manager.

The successful candidate would ideally possess the following experience and qualifications:

• Work with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize work order completion based on urgency and work with the Barn Manager to ensure the provisions of safe, timely, and efficient service,
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance and respond to calls on a variety of equipment ranging from heating, ventilation and plumbing, welding, carpentry, and troubleshooting several assets,
• Work outside and inside the production facility,
• Adhere to all SOPs, biosecurity, and health and safety,
• Ensure proper operations and maintenance of all barn equipment,
• Respond to ER situations and work on an on-call rotation, as required, for after-hour callouts,
• Other duties as assigned.
