Job summary

Väderstad is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Langbank, Saskatchewan to maintain buildings, grounds and related equipment, ensuring safety and quality at high standards.

You will diagnose and repair problems, complete service requests promptly, and promote safe work practices while following company policies and OH&S regulations.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision are essential in supporting our growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years in a maintenance environment would be an asset.
• Electrical/Mechanical experience not required but would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair problems related to buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs safely and promptly.
• Respond to requests and follow through to minimize issues and complaints.
• Apply all applicable company policies and safety procedures.
• Promote safe work practices among on-site staff and ensure OH&S compliance.
• Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks.
• Operate equipment related to grounds keeping and building maintenance.
