Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Industrial Mechanic with industrial maintenance experience.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and PLC/controls.
• Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and overhaul plant production equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Perform preventive maintenance and implement improvements on equipment.
• Support projects in design, installation, and commissioning of new or modified equipment.
• Keep complete, accurate records of maintenance inspections, repairs and meter readings.
• Track preventive maintenance across all equipment and boilers.

Job requirement

• Candidates must be a licensed Industrial Mechanic and must have a practical experience performing as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting to be eligible for this post.
• Candidates must attain excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot to be eligible for this post.
• Candidates must have experience with automated manufacturing equipment to be eligible for this post.
• Candidates at this post must have prior knowledge of PLC and controls to be eligible for this post.
• Applicants must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license to get preferred for this post.
