Job summary

Organigram Global in Lac-Supérieur, Quebec, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will troubleshoot issues and advise on new projects to improve equipment reliability.

You will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with safety procedures, forklift operation, and occasional heights or confined spaces.

Qualifications

• DEP/AEC or Certificate.
• Industrial Mechanic/Electromechanic: 1 year (an asset).
• Knowledge of ventilation systems (an asset).
• Experience in food manufacturing and/or a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (an asset).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strictly adhere to established quality and control standards when performing all tasks.
• Be comfortable working with equipment featuring digital controls and computer systems.
• Be comfortable with manual labor and the use of computer tools.
• Follow safety procedures and policies and notify management of unsafe areas or activities.
• Be able to operate a forklift and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate professional ethics and great versatility.

Supervisor: Maintenance Manager

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. They will also be closely involved in the troubleshooting process. Furthermore, they will act as an advisor during the implementation of new projects or projects to improve existing equipment.

• Strictly adhere to established quality and control standards when performing all tasks;
• Be comfortable working with equipment featuring digital controls and computer systems;
