What You Will Do

1. General Maintenance tasks: repairs, replacements, and renovations
2. Preventative Maintenance – equipment and property
3. Seasonal maintenance – assist with snow clearing and salting
4. Various interior and exterior cleaning
5. Supplies and equipment inventory
6. Work order documents and logs
7. Rotational Emergency and seasonal after-hours response
8. Maintain and inspect equipment
9. Adhere to safety guidelines
10. Complete liability and life safety checks
11. Deliver assignments on time
12. Quality assurance
13. Collaborate with a vast and diverse team

What You Bring to the Table

1. Proven experience as a maintenance technician – versatile skill set
2. Technical certification in a relevant field (preferred)
3. Awareness of safe work practices with hand tools and other equipment
4. Team player who thrives under pressure
5. High level of craftsmanship
6. Ability to work in various conditions, indoor and outdoor
7. Estimating skills, both time and materials
8. Ability to stand, climb ladders, and bend for extended periods of time
9. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if required
10. Comfortable working at height with proper safety measures
11. Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, reliable vehicle
12. Reside in close proximity to the property – max 30kms
13. Willingness to step outside of core responsibilities to support your team

Work Environment

Get ready to tackle a dynamic range of tasks, both indoors and outdoors, minor to major projects, all while working efficiently in occupied tenant spaces. May work independently or as a team, primarily during regular hours. However, there will be needs that may fall outside of those hours – after-hours emergency calls and high turnover periods.
