Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Technician will oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the property and fulfill the company's responsibilities to its residents in the Goderich area.

Properties include: The Bluffs at Huron, Huron Haven, Meneset (all in Goderich)

The Job:

The main responsibilities of the job will be maintaining gardens and regular testing of swimming pools in the summer months. In the winter, you will be responsible for upkeep of the workshop, preventative maintenance and ground maintenance / light snow removal as needed. You will also be responsible for helping with property improvements, as required.

As an onsite representative of our company, you will work collaboratively with customers, vendors, and employees at the property level. You will also interact frequently with the Property Manager who will provide mentorship and coaching. There will be plenty of opportunity to collaborate with others in our large network of property operations professionals, as well as cross functionally with other departments at Parkbridge.

• You will be responsible for a tool cart and a lawn mower.
• For communication purposes, you will also be using company technology including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams and other technology

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a related role
• Must have a valid G-class driver’s license
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis
• Must be available for sewer, water, and property emergencies outside normal operating hours (infrequent)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the hotel or campground industry
• Knowledge of water/wastewater issues

This is a full time, year-round job. Day shift. You will require a valid G-class driver’s licence as travel between sites will be necessary. An onsite work vehicle will be provided. This is generally a Monday-Friday job, however flexibility to work on weekends is an asset.
