To excel in this role, you should be:

• Minimum of two to three years of previous experience (considered an asset)
• Completed Grade 12 education
• Clean Driver's abstract
• Ability to use basic power tools and perform basic building maintenance
• Basic command of English (written and verbal)
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Plumbing knowledge (asset)
• Good judgment under pressure
• Physically fit to stand, crouch, kneel, and lift over 25 kg
• Carpentry/construction skills (asset)
• Strong customer care and communication skills

What will your role involve?

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include:

• Performing general maintenance such as millwork, minor plumbing, door repairs, window installation, painting, drywall repairs, and similar duties.
• Using various power tools, painting, drywall repairs (asset)
• Assisting with building operations
• Performing rough and finished carpentry for repairs and construction
• Fitting and installing trim, doors, moulding, hardware
• Repairing and refinishing furniture
• Performing finished carpentry for cabinets and other items
• Operating standard power tools and equipment
• Responding immediately to emergencies and service requests
• Assisting with landscaping responsibilities
