Job summary

VLink in Brampton, ON is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance of production machinery, electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industrial maintenance, experience with CMMS, and strong root-cause analysis to improve reliability and reduce downtime. A Licensed Millwright (433A) or related technologist diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Update PM documentation and SOPs in CMMS.

This is a Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance role in a food manufacturing environment.

Core Requirements:

• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience
• Hands-on preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repair of production machinery, automation, electrical, mechanical, and facility equipment
• Experience with CMMS for PM scheduling, work orders, documentation, and maintenance tracking
• Strong RCA / root-cause troubleshooting with permanent corrective actions
• Experience modifying and improving equipment for reliability and reduced downtime
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, technical manuals, SOPs, and procedures
• Licensed Millwright (433A) or qualified Maintenance Technician
• Technologist diploma/degree in Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, Automation, Engineering, or related field
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred
• Food Safety & Compliance
