Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean, safe store environment in Huntsville, ON. The role involves coordinating with store teams, following food safety standards, and performing routine cleaning across Fresh Departments, coolers and fixtures.

Training and certifications are part of the role, with emphasis on safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection of all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and works in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
