Job summary

Avenue Living Residential is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support the property management team across multiple communities. You will assist with renovations, deliveries, and upkeep to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained properties for residents.

The role requires hands-on labor, the ability to work with various programs on a mobile device, and a commitment to safety including respirator protocols. On-call rotation and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general labor.
• Tech-savvy and able to use multiple programs and systems on a mobile device.
• Strong communication skills with residents; adaptable communication style.
• Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Mandatory requirement to be clean shaven to wear a respirator.
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours and be part of the On Call Rotation.
• Must complete & pass a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Maintenance Associate Team, Regional Administrative Assistant and Residential Portfolio Manager.
• Deliver and remove materials and appliances; assist with installation and disposal as required.
• Work independently to complete minor renovations including painting, drywall, mudding, and taping.
• Assist property management with distribution of resident notices, memos, and postings.
• Assist with property maintenance including snow removal, lawn maintenance, garbage collection and removal of large items.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to building systems; respond to emergencies; conduct regular inspections.
• Other duties as required.

WHAT WILLYOUDO?
