Job summary

Magna Mining Inc. in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, is seeking two Supervisors, Maintenance for Levack Mine to oversee electrical, millwright, mobile equipment, and shaft maintenance while leading trades teams and coordinating with planners to keep operations on track.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician preferred or certified tradesperson with strong electrical background.
• 7+ years of maintenance experience in mining/heavy industrial environments.
• Experience across electrical, mechanical, and mobile equipment maintenance.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound knowledge of underground mining maintenance practices and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities across all maintenance disciplines (electrical, mechanical, mobile, shaft).
• Lead, coach, and mentor trades personnel.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed on schedule.
• Troubleshoot equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with planners/engineers to prioritize work orders and resources.
• Monitor parts usage and inventory in collaboration with warehouse teams.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance crews across disciplines.
• Recommend improvements to maintenance practices and equipment performance.
