Job summary

Magna Mining Inc. seeks a Supervisor, Underground Operations to lead underground crews at the Levack Mine in Sudbury area. The role focuses on delivering sustainable, reliable mine operations and promoting a safety-first culture.

You will supervise activities, monitor production targets, and ensure compliance with OHSA, MTCU, WSIB and company policies. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train and mentor underground personnel while coordinating

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring of underground crews.
• Knowledge of underground mining methods and safety practices.
• Experience coordinating underground operations and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day underground mining activities (drilling, blasting, mucking, ground support).
• Monitor compliance with mine plans, production targets and safety standards.
• Lead pre-shift safety meetings, inspections and hazard assessments.
• Assign tasks based on skills and priorities; document shift activities.
