Maintenance Supervisor - Afternoon Shift

Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures maintenance standards comply with food quality and safety standards, overseeing GMP adherence, safety, and legislative guidelines. Working closely with Plant Production, the supervisor trains and supervises the crew to maintain production machines and equipment efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train maintenance crews, manage manpower, absenteeism, and conflicts.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and employee development.
• Maintain and order parts and supplies for maintenance needs.
• Manage maintenance procedures to meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards, including CFIA compliance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with other departments on maintenance issues and foster strong relationships.
• Conduct monthly meetings with the maintenance team and report to the Plant Manager.
• Participate in JHSC initiatives and follow health and safety policies.
• Support the development and improvement of Quality Systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
