Job summary

Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a leading food processing facility in the GTA region. The role leads the Electrical team, overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance and championing safety and TPM practices.

You will be the technical resource for electrical troubleshooting, drive reliability initiatives, and coordinate maintenance shutdowns while supporting production goals. A 442A license is required, with 309A as an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Valid Industrial Electrician (442A) license required; 309A license considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, TPM, process control, and industrial maintenance practices.
• Extensive experience in electrical and automation troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Kinetix systems, and servo motors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Electrical team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for electrical troubleshooting and maintenance issues.
• Oversee site-wide maintenance activities and ensure safety, environmental, quality, and company policy compliance.
• Drive initiatives to improve equipment reliability, maximize uptime, and reduce downtime.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including work planning and MRO inventory management.
• Collaborate with Operations and other departments to support production objectives.
• Coordinate contractors, maintenance shutdowns, scheduling, and activities.
• Monitor team performance and support employee development and training.
• Provide hands-on electrical support and participate in on-call coverage.
