Shift: Afternoon (3 PM - 11 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute maintenance projects, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and supporting the Maintenance team.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team, providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations to ensure team members have the necessary skills and competencies.
• Manage administrative duties such as approving overtime, updating Dayforce, and managing vacation schedules.
• Conduct shift handover meetings, providing project updates, assigning tasks, and communicating countermeasures as needed.
• Support cost containment by tracking labor overtime.
• Perform workplace safety inspections, ensuring compliance with safety policies and addressing issues related to GMP violations, production lines, and equipment.
• Model safe work practices and adhere to health and safety policies.

Recipe for Success:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food services or baking.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electrical system knowledge.
• Experience with automation, PLC, instrumentation, robotics, and bulk handling systems.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and plant equipment.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and prioritize work effectively.
• Proficient in CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Safety-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
