PAL Technical Services is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for our team in St. John's, NL .

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Coordinate the maintenance, repair and overhaul of all aircraft and aircraft components
• Responsible for the Technical Dispatch of all aircraft from the standpoint of maintenance performance in accordance with the MCM
• Ensure sufficient tools and equipment are made available to accomplish the maintenance and inspection functions
• Responsible for the administration of quality and safety practices and procedures including but not limited to : SMS reportsSafety inspectionsInjury reportingToolbox inspections
• Responsible for the supervision of an assigned workforce and monitoring employee performance
• Monitor the serviceability of required tools and equipment and report any deficiencies
• Maintain the workshop and hangar facilities in a clean and orderly manner
• Participate in resource discussions and recruitment process as required
• Other duties as required

Qualifications :

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience & hold a valid M1 & M2 AME license : preferably with experience on the below-noted aircraft types : Dash 8-100 / 200 / 300 and / or Dash 8-400 & King Air series Aircraft and Bombardier Challenger 604 & 605 & Gulfstream G280, Jet Aircraft.
• Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills to interact professionally with team members
• Thorough knowledge of company aircraft and their related systems
• Ability to plan and organize the work processes and work packages in the shop environment to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency of the production team.
• Ability to manage people
• Ability to deal with and work in pressure situations and under timeline constraints both independently and in a team environment
