Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Richmond Hill, ON, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations at the plant and to lead a team of maintenance technicians for safe, reliable equipment performance. You will establish preventive maintenance routines and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a continental schedule on First Shift and some flexibility for alternate shifts and weekends. CAD 76,200–114,200 salary range plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Engineering or Maintenance Management is a plus.
  • 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and maintenance management software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure proper maintenance practices and timely repairs.
  • Assign tasks and prioritize maintenance activities based on urgency and criticality of equipment.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Richmond Hill, ON plant, a manufacturer of quality aseptic products. Your role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and systems are functioning efficiently and safely. This position involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Important Details

This is a full-time, on-site role on a continental schedule on First Shift. Occasional flexibility is required to support alternate shifts and weekends.

The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $76,200.00 - $114,200.00 CAD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics and business or organizational needs. For certain roles, the successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus and equity pay.
