The Opportunity

Position Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Prince George

Employment Type: Full Time 35 Hours/week

What You’ll Do

As our Maintenance Supervisor, the Housing, Capital and Infrastructure program provides leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative support to promote the long‑term sustainability and performance of housing, capital assets, and infrastructure. It works with member Nations and partners to deliver asset management services, including condition assessments, portfolio analysis, maintenance and renewal planning, project implementation, and technical advisory support.

  • Supervises and supports maintenance staff, including day‑to‑day direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Manages and maintains CSFS internal Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by triaging and prioritizing work orders; assigning labor/resources; scheduling preventive maintenance; tracking parts, costs; documenting completion notes and close‑out requirements; and maintaining accurate asset/equipment records, histories, and reports to support planning and performance tracking. Plans, schedules, and oversees preventative maintenance programs and ensures daily/weekly/monthly checklists and maintenance records are completed and retained.
  • Coordinates and inspects general building repairs and upkeep (e.g., drywall, painting, doors/locks, windows, blinds, fixtures), and completes hands‑on work as needed.

What You Will Bring to The Role

  • Red Seal Certification in Carpentry or related field an asset
  • 5+ years experience in a Supervisory Role
  • Proven experience in managing multi‑disciplinary teams and complex maintenance operations.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $46.020 to $56.618 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity
