Job summary

Staffmax is assisting a Montreal-based manufacturing facility in recruiting an Aviation maintenance technician for an 8-month contract. The role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment within a manufacturing setting.

The technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, read blueprints, document repairs, and support facility upkeep to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Safety-focused with strong communication skills.
• Trade certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities
