Our client is recognized around the world for their superior product quality and constant pursuit of excellence and we are looking for an experience Maintenance Supervisor in Calgary , AB for them.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for directly managing a team of skilled maintenance professionals and will have responsibility for the safe and efficient maintenance of plant equipment and facility.

Responsibilities :

• Help to manage and oversee the preventative maintenance program
• Build strong relationships with the staff within the plant as well as external customers
• Ensure compliance with all codes, regulations and municipal bylaws
• With the Maintenance Manager prepare the annual department budget
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement initiatives in plant processes
• Minimize waste and plant mechanical downtime

Requirements :

• A minimum of 5 years in a maintenance supervisor or team lead type role preferably from a food or beverage type manufacturing environment.
• You have worked in the trades as a Millwright, Electrician or similar.
• Ability to lead, train, build relationships and manage your team.
• Experience in developing goals, priorities and expectations and action plans and strategies based on organization needs
• A proven record of execution of preventative and systematic maintenance programs
