Job summary

Walmart in Calgary, AB is seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program, helping control expenses while keeping the store clean and safe for customers and teammates.

You’ll collaborate with the Stocking 3 Coach and associates on a comprehensive cleaning regimen, follow Food Safety and cold chain guidelines, and perform cleaning across Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers and display fixtures, while inspecting equipment and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection of all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, clean floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
