Job summary

Walmart Canada in Mississauga West is seeking a maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program, helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will follow food safety standards, assist in cleaning of Fresh Departments, inspect equipment, ensure supply levels, and support safety through in-store certification programs and company policies. The role requires the ability to work with others and comply with all Walmart Canada policies.

Qualifications

• Age – 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
