Job summary

Walmart Canada in Terrebonne, QC is seeking a dedicated cleaning associate to participate in a structured maintenance program and help keep the store clean and safe for customers and teammates.

You will perform cleaning across Fresh Departments, comply with Food Safety standards, and assist in equipment checks to ensure supplies are available.

This role requires 18+ years old and offers an hourly wage starting at CAD 19.05. Some shifts may require standing and light lifting.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to complete in-store certification programs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection of all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• When required, cleans floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
