A leading educational institution in Peterborough is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician to ensure the proper functioning of facility services equipment. The role involves maintenance, repairs, and record-keeping for various equipment. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and experience with small engines and electronic inventory systems. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive benefits package.

40 hours/week, 12 months/year
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Maintenance Repair Technician position is to provide maintenance and repairs on facility services equipment and maintain updated detailed records showing history of repairs for each piece of equipment.

This position does not supervise.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Primary work location will mainly be the Peterborough Shop located at the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board Education Office (1994 Fisher Drive, Peterborough); however frequent travel is required of this position on a daily basis using Board/Employer vehicle throughout the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Primary work location may be discussed with Manager.
